No new functionality just a reorganisation of documentation and make/install functionality in preparation for rewrite. - Switched from make to A-A-P for application install and build. - Documentation and Web page reorganization. - Connect now compiles under FreeBSD 4.7 but no testing as yet.

• Now compiles and installs under Redhat 7.3, default locations and startup scripts tailored for Redhat 7.3.

Version 0.5.1 (2000-09-15)

• Added -v connect client command-line option. This option causes connection/disconnection progress to be displayed (this was the default in the previous release. The default in this release is to print error messages only.

• Updated example coniguration files: The distributed example configuration files (in /usr/local/doc/connect-0.5.1/examples/) have been updated and clarified. In particular the confusing ppp0 and ppp1 example link names have been changed (links do not necessarily correspond to fixed PPP interface names).
