PRS Demonstration version

The PRS Demonstration version is a self contained fully functional PRS Client and includes an example prepopulated database (licensed to the fictitious company Foobar Recruitment). The Demonstration version is useful for evaluating the PRS and as a training tool.

Running the PRS Demonstration Version

  1. Install the Demonstration version if you haven’t already done so.

  2. Double-click the PRS 2000 Demonstration icon on the Desktop.

  3. Select any name from the Consultant name drop-down list and press the Logon button.

Installing the PRS Demonstration version

Installing the Demo from the PRS CD-ROM

  1. Insert the PRS CD-ROM and wait for the PRS Setup window to appear.

  2. Click Install PRS Demo Version and follow the on-screen instructions.

Note
 If this is the first time you have installed the PRS on this PC then you will first prompted to install the PRS Runtime. Once Runtime installation is complete return to step 1 and install PRS Demo version.

Installing the Demo from the Web

  1. Before you installing the PRS Demonstration version you need to Download and install the PRS Runtime.

  2. Download the PRS Demonstration Setup Wizard.

  3. Run the downloaded prs2k_demo_setup_806 Setup Wizard and follow the on-screen instructions.

 Unless you know exactly what you’re doing accept the setup wizard defaults.
