The mail logo and template set by the HTML Logo and HTML Signature commands apply to all users who send HTML formatted mail messages from the PRS. The standard signature can be overridden on an occupation or user basis by including specially named signatures and logos in the HTML Signatures folder.
Occupation specific signatures
Mail templates and logos can be assigned based on the user's occupation, just name the HTML signature and logo files with the occupation (see examples below).
User specific signatures
Mail signatures and logos can be assigned on a per-user basis, just name the HTML signature and logo files with the user's name (see examples below).
Examples
NOTE: When naming signature and logo files you must replace any illegal file name characters or spaces with underscore characters.
| 1. | User Joe Bloggs would have a mail signature file named joe_bloggs.html (in the Signatures folder). |
| 2. | Users with occupation Contract Recruiter would have a mail signature file named contract_recruiter.html (in the Signatures folder). |
| 3. | Tessie Newport has a JPEG picture file that she wants displayed in her email signature, just name the file tessie_newport.jpg and place in the Signatures folder. |
