What’s New in Release 6

Integrated Texting

Version 6 of the PRS introduces a fully integrated SMS mobile messaging system.

New User Interface Styles

The most visible change is the new user interface. There are a choice of styles which can be customized by the user. Here are some screen shots:

Other Additions and Changes

  • The PRS Options dialog (Options… command in the Tools menu) has a new Appearance page that allows the user to change the look of PRS forms.

  • The new Personnel form layout has more room for the linked documents list and the Location field has been moved to the more logical position under the Address field.

  • A new User Defined vacancy activity has been added, the name of this activity is a PRS configuration option (run the Options… command from the PRS Tools menu and click on the Appearance tab).

  • Added View Documentation button to the PRS installation Setup Menu.

  • Changed Recent Activity in Vacancies report dialog to Latest to make the intention clearer.

  • If there are no staff records belonging to the recruitment company (for example when the PRS is first installed) the user will be prompted to create the first staff record.
